We collect very little, and we never sell your data. Here's the honest, readable version.
When you join, we receive the information you provide at checkout: your name, email and shipping address. If you contact us, we also keep the content of your message so we can help. We do not ask for, receive or store your card number — that stays with Stripe.
We use your information exclusively to fulfill your membership: shipping your monthly package, sending your receipt, answering your messages and, if you subscribe, sending the newsletter.
Payments are processed by Stripe on its own secure, PCI-DSS compliant pages. When you check out, your card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store them. Stripe shares with us only what we need: your billing status, the amount paid and the shipping details you entered. Please review Stripe's own privacy policy for how it handles payment data.
For subscription plans, Stripe stores your subscription and payment method on your behalf so your membership can renew on schedule. You can manage or cancel it anytime from the Stripe checkout confirmation or by writing to us.
If you join the newsletter, we use your email only to send the newsletter. Every newsletter includes an easy way to unsubscribe. Transactional emails (receipts, shipping confirmations, replies to your messages) are sent to the address you provided at checkout.
We use a small amount of cookies, including one that remembers the language you chose and basic analytics, to improve the site. Stripe's checkout pages set their own necessary cookies for payments, outside of our control. Nothing we collect is sold to third parties.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share what is required to run the club: shipping details (name, address) with the postal carrier and billing details with Stripe. We never share your email with anyone else.
We keep order records as long as needed to run the club and meet accounting and tax requirements (typically a few years). Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe, and messages until the conversation is closed. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see 'Your rights' below.
ColorMensis is intended for people aged 13 and older (16 in the EU and UK). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child provided us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your personal data, to export it, or to cancel your membership. Where the law gives you rights (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), we honor them. Write to info@colormensis.com or use the contact page and we will take care of it.
